I might have slept through August. Or lost it to watching Below Deck Med and Love Island UK. One or the other, who knows.

beginning

Fall. Too cliche? I. Don’t. Care. I love all things fall. All of the flavors of fall: apples and pumpkin. Warm, cozy sweaters, with jeans and boots. Also, chilly fall weather! I didn’t even write any of that in full sentences, that’s how excited I am. Seriously, wrap me up in fall and I am ready!

ending

Summer. Bet you didn’t see that coming, right? I’m not a summer person. I love the activities that can come with summer (like outdoor movies and being by the pool), but then I remember how hot and humid it gets and I’m instantly over summer. The only problem with this ending is that summer weather in DC doesn’t really end with Labor Day…it probably won’t fully cool off until October. Maybe even early November. Pray for me.

loving

Watching Hallmark and HGTV with my parents. One of the things I love about going home is that my parents love to watch a lot of the things that I do. So it’s always fun to pick something out to watch with them. My mom and I love picking out new Hallmark movies to watch!

picking

Out new sweaters for fall! Have I mentioned how excited I am for fall yet? It may be 90 degrees outside, but since we keep our apartment a crisp 72, it gives me a good excuse to wear my sweaters inside. That will at least satisfy my need for sweater weather until it actually comes.

posting

More about books! I hope. I’ve been terrible this year about posting the books I’ve read on Instagram this year. Life just got in the way. I’ve accepted it, but I want to try to be better about it now. So I’m going to try to make more of an effort to post about the books I’m reading (or have read) to Instagram moving forward. Will I be better about it? I have no idea, but I’m definitely going to try to!

As always, linking up with Anne In Residence
