Life has been absolutely crazy and it’s been a solid month since I’ve even logged into my blog! No, I’m not abandoning my blog. Not at all. I just haven’t had the time or capacity to even think about posting. Why? Well, keep reading and you’ll find out why!

borrowing

Books from the library again! It’s so exciting to say! I haven’t been inside a library since March 2020, so it was super exciting to go back into the library last weekend to pick up a book I had on hold. It’s just the little things, right?

buying

Sweaters and whatever else my retail therapy desires. It came back and stronger than ever in September. It didn’t help that J.Crew and Loft have some really cute fall arrivals. Obviously, there are going to be a lot of returns, but below is just a sneak peak of what I’m keeping.

planning

All of the blog posts I’ve wanted to write over the last two months that I haven’t had the time to. These last few months have been absolutely crazy (I’ll explain part of the reason below) and I just had to put my blog to the side while I dealt with everything from my job to family emergencies. But now I’m back and I’m just itching to share all of the things I’ve put off on my unexpected hiatus.

prepping

For my new job! I can’t believe I finally get to write it, but it seemed so perfect here. After seven years at my job, I decided that it was finally time for a change. My job search wasn’t the easiest and it sucked up my free time and mental capacity, so I’m so happy it’s finally done. I’m also really happy with where I’m going. I think that this is going to be a great change for me and I’m so excited to make it.

Also, I gave myself a few days off in between jobs so I can take a few days to decompress and breathe a little, which is much needed.

reading

All the spooky and witchy reads! I’m planning on putting a post together of spooky books I’ve read and want to read. In preparation for that, I’ve been adding some more witchy books to my reading list and I’ve been loving this theme lately. It’s been perfect for the weather and the season.

Here’s a little peak, plus some of the other books I’ve read lately.

As always, linking up with Anne In Residence
