There comes a time in every blogger’s life when she has to decide if she needs to rush to post something while the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going on or if she can live her life like a normal person and post it when life feels normal again. Obviously, I decided to go with the latter. Why? Well, cute is cute and these pieces from Chelsea28 are going to be cute and inexpensive no matter when I share them.

Chelsea28 Lace Top, teal balsam, XS
I thought I wasn’t going to like this shirt because first, it’s not lined and second, it has puffy sleeves. But then I tried it on and it was so cute! The shoulder puffs are minimal enough that they aren’t overwhelming. I also love the seams going down the front, giving it more of a shape. I know it’s not lineded, but that’s a simple fix by just wearing a tank underneath!
Verdict: Keeping
Chelsea28 A-Line Tank, Navy iris, XS
I’ve been looking for a cute, patterned tank after I kept seeing how well Anne had been styling them. I think this one might be a winner! It’s lightweight, office appropriate, and easy to style. The only thing is, now that I’m looking at the top through these pictures, do those irises look like lips? Hrm…
Verdict: I thought I was going to keep it. Now I need to go look at it again.
Chelsea28 Keyhole Back Lace Tee, ivory, XS
I’m torn. I need a new white lace top, but again, this top is not lined. It’s also a little shorter than I wanted. But, it has a great lace pattern. . Ugh. Do I look for a lined shirt and return this? Or layer this one? Help!!
Verdict: I don’t know.
Chelsea28 Front Tie Shift Dress, cobalt, XS
I had such high hopes for this dress, but those hopes and dreams fell apart quicker than most girls’ dreams for prom night. The fabric for this dress was great, but the top part of the dress was was too big and the bottom part was too tight. It made no sense! However, if your body type is reverse (slightly larger chest and smaller hips/butt), this dress is a winner for you!
Verdict: Return.
1.STATE Chiffon Inset Camisole, cloud, XS
Looking at this tank head on, it looks like such a dud. It’s so long, looks a little oversized, and just looks silly. But tucked in, it’s such a winner! I also love the little sheer lining at the top. It’s such a cute top. This cami is going to be great for layering in the fall.
Verdict: Keep
Halogen® Wrap Front Peplum Top, Yellow & Ivory, xs
Online this top looked super cute, but on me, it was okay. I just wasn’t as in love with it as I wanted to be. It was true to size though and would be a good work option. However, I want to note, the white/ivory one is pretty see through. You don’t have to worry about it with the other colors though!
Verdict: return
