It’s time for fall and all the fall colors and all of the fall clothing. Specifically the J.Crew Factory and Old Navy fall clothing. Which I’ve ordered and I’m trying on for you today.

That’s all I really have for an intro right now because this is pretty self explanatory, so let’s go!

Old Navy Fall Clothing

Old Navy Faux-Suede Utility Skirt, 2

I’m pretty much going all in on Old Navy’s faux suede skirts from this season and last season apparently. I’m also really into dark green right now. Meaning that as soon as I saw this skirt, I knew I was ordering it. It doesn’t disappoint! It’s true to size and just long enough that if I pair it with tights, I’ll be okay with wearing it to work (my office is more on the casual of the business casual scale). It’s a little high-waist, but it’ll be good for tucking things in.

Verdict: Keep.

Old Navy Mid-Rise Sateen Rockstar Jeans for Women, Royal Pine, 2P

Did I mention I was on a green kick? I have a pair of light green jeans, but I couldn’t resist trying on these dark green ones when I saw them. Old Navy, you really sold me on them. They’re true to size and the length was perfect for petite girls. I should add that for the record, these jeans fit like jeggings and look like it in person (as you could see in this post).  That’s obviously fine with me, but I’m not sure if it’s fine with everyone.

Verdict: Keep

Yes, these are the same pants as above. But, there are obviously a few differences. First, I didn’t like the color as much as I thought I would. It looked golden online, but in person, it was a lot more orange. It was also a lot less “sateen” than the green ones. Which isn’t a problem, I just wanted to point that out. Overall though, I just wasn’t as in love with them, I’m just not an orange person.

Verdict: Return

J.Crew Factory

DC woman blogger wearing J.Crew Factory Cascading always cardigan

J.Crew Cascading always cardigan, Heather Dusk, XS

Have you ever liked the idea of something more than the actual thing? That was how I felt about this cardigan. I loved the draping front and the color of it, but everything else was just meh. The cardigan was made out of t-shirt material so it wasn’t very cozy and I couldn’t figure out what I would wear this with. It wasn’t too expensive but I just couldn’t justify a reason for keeping it.

Verdict: Return

DC woman blogger wearing J.Crew Factory tie-waist t-shirt

J.Crew Tie-waist pocket T-shirt, XS Sheer Pink

As you may know, I own this shirt in about 6 different colors already. But when the pink came into stock, I was curious and wanted to try it out. In person, I wasn’t that in love with it. The fit was fine, same as all of the other shirts, but I just didn’t love it, I don’t know why.

Verdict: Return

DC woman blogger wearing J.Crew Factory tie-waist top

J.Crew Factory Tie-waist top, Deep Moss, XS

I need help with this one. I really can’t decide! I like the material and the color. The fit is pretty dead on. It also doesn’t have too many button problems (or at least, nothing that can’t be fixed without some double sided tape). All of the details are cute and work together, I just can’t decide what to do about it. Should I keep it? What could I wear it with to work? I think I need to try it on with a few more things before I make this decision.

Verdict: Undecided. Help!

You already know I love this top. I love this color even more.

DC woman blogger J.Crew Factory mini skirt

J.Crew Factory Mini skirt in corduroy, Vivid Burgundy, Size 0

Back to the mini skirt hunt, but now it’s the corduroy edition! If you haven’t tried out J.Crew Factory skirts, you’re really missing out on some great work skirts. This one was no exception. Like the earlier options, just pair it with some tights and you’re good to go! This is also a good option if you’re interested in red, but you want something a little bit deeper.

Verdict: Keep

J.Crew Factory Mini Skirt in corduroy

J.Crew Factory Mini skirt in corduroy, Golden Brandy, Size 0

Sorry, I just couldn’t do it. Why are all of the golden colors so off in person? This one just leaned too brown and I couldn’t handle it.

Verdict: Return

DC woman blogger wearing J.Crew Factory long-sleeve top with silky hem

J.Crew Factory Long-sleeve top with silky hem, Charcoal Dot, XS

I tend to fail when I have to lay on my own, so I love faux-layered items. This top is definitely cute and the t-shirt material is soft, but I just felt meh about it. The gray top is too similar to another gray top that I had and the blue to a blue cami, so I really just couldn’t justify it.

Verdict: Return

DC woman blogger wearing J.Crew Factory Long-sleeve knit lace-up dress

J.Crew Factory Long-sleeve knit lace-up dress, Heather Graphite XS

My last piece and my last stump-er! What do you guys think about this lace up dress? Is it cute? Is lace up so last year? The fit is pretty accurate. but I can’t figure out if I would wear this enough. Help!

That’s all for now. Check back next week when we dive into workout wear.
