wearing

Ankle boots and fall colors! Finally! I’m so freaking happy about it. The weather in DC is still going back and forth between 80 degrees and 60, but I’ve found plenty of days to squeeze in ankle boots and jeans. I’m also throwing in fall colors, because it’s October, darn it! I am excited though, because it’s supposed to be chilly when I’m in Toronto this weekend, so I’ll get to pull out all of my sweaters and jackets!

collecting

I shouldn’t say shoes, I really really shouldn’t say shoes. So instead, let’s go with collecting more tips for organizing my closet. It’s a really slow process, but I’m getting really inspired by The Home Edit. I’ve been following those girls for a while now and they really are amazing. I really think I just need to bite the bullet and get their online consulting package for my closet.

making

Pumpkin desserts! I resisted for all of September, but I think it’s time to stop resisting and start baking! I love pumpkin flavored things (make fun of me all you want, I don’t care) and now is the time to indulge! (image via)

taking

My time settling into my new workout routine. I talked about my new workout routine a few posts back. While I did dive into it, I’m also still letting myself take the time to explore new classes and figure out what I really like. There are a few things I’m pushing myself to do consistently (walk more, keep up the habit of working out), but I’m loving taking my time to explore all of these different work out classes!

planning

My trip to Toronto this weekend! I mentioned above that I’m excited for my trip to Toronto because of the chilly weather, but I’m also excited because I haven’t visited there since I was a kid! I’ve put together a list of places or things I want to visit while I’m there, but I’m not sure if we’ll actually get to everything. Would you guys like me to do a post on my trip (and what I packed) once we’re back? Let me know!

As always, linking up with Anne In Residence
