This series isn’t annual, but I have to admit, I love it! It’s so much fun coming up with easy Halloween costumes and sharing with you guys how to put them together yourself. In the past, I’ve shared everything from sushi to magic eight balls. Also, Where’s Waldo,  because why not? This year, I’m bringing you three Halloween costumes. Two that are pretty classic and one new one that I’m pretty in love with. Get excited!

Belle from Beauty and the Beast

This one is pretty classic, isn’t it? The nice thing is, it’s also pretty easy. You could go the high end route and wear a huge yellow ballgown, but this is lazy, last minute, and easy. So let’s go about it the easy way.

You can go about it two ways: first, you can do a shirt dress with an apron. Second, you can go about it the way I did (which I tried because I had the pieces). For this one, I took a button up white top, a sleeveless blue dress, and a white apron. I then added in a pair of black flats and a black ribbon.

To make it extra Belle-ish, I added in a book. After all, what’s more Belle than a book?

Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

For Snow White, I decided to focus on the colors (think the main picture of Snow White). Blue on top, a yellow skirt, and red accessories (especially a red bow!). You also really want to make sure that you aim for primary colors, nothing muted.

Want to add an extra touch? Well, if you aren’t going to carry around a dwarf with you all night, why not carry around an apple? Then you have a snack with you if you get hungry!

A McDonalds Happy Meal!

This one is a bit more complicated, but honestly so much more fun. It may also involve a quick trip to Walmart, but you won’t have to spend that much money. First, I grabbed some bright red pieces from my closet (luckily, I have a few). I also luckily have some yellow shoes (thank god I’m on a mustard kick like the rest of the world.

Next, comes the smile on the side of the box (or your shirt). For this you have a few options. I used gold washi tape to make the smile and then packaging tape to make it stay in place. Other options: gold duct tape or print out the smile on paper and then tape it on.

Finally, your crown (or rather, the golden arches on top of the Happy Meal Box). I made the arches out of foil, covered it in washi tape, and then taped it on to a little kid’s headband crown. That can be a little difficult though, so the easier route would be to get some gold pipe cleaners to shape the arches and then connect those to a headband So much easier!

The finishing touches? I added a McDonalds cup and a small toy (after all, you are a Happy Meal). But you could just go with one or actually get a Happy Meal Box and use that as your purse!

There you go! Three easy Halloween outfits for every lazy girl out there.

What will you wear this Halloween? Are you wearing a costume at all?
