The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Halloween

Is anyone incredibly lazy when it comes to their Halloween costumes? I’ve become a winner at throwing together Halloween costumes at the last minute with pieces I already own. Why? Well, why should I spend money when I love a good DIY?

Today I’m sharing two of my favorite Halloween costumes from the past few years. These are perfect for those of us who are anti the slutty Halloween costume and pro being super comfy all night. That being said, I’m aware that I’m wearing heels in this picture but (1) you don’t have to wear heels, you could wear any shoe really and (2) these are my comfy heels, so stop judging.
First up, the magic 8 ball.

All you need for this costume are:
An all black outfit. I have quite a few black dresses, but you could just as easily do a black shirt and black pants.
A computer and printer
Scissors
Tape
I used a word document on my computer to create the 8 cutout and then the fun “answer.” I then just printed them, cut them out, and taped them on with double sided tape! Ta-da!

Sushi To-Go might be one of my all time favorite costumes. After all, I have a pillow strapped to my back all night! For this outfit, throw on a red, orange, or yellow solid color shirt, just grab your widest black belt and strap a pillow to your back. I also grabbed a pair of chop sticks and a bottle of soy sauce, after all, it is sushi to go!
PS A little confused by this one? Maybe this picture will help.
