Did you know that this past Thursday was World Mental Health Day? Have you heard of the day before? It’s a day that was created with the purpose of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world.

This year, day was was focused around suicide prevention. Every 40 seconds someone loses their life to suicide, so WMHD day wanted to educate people about how they could help those around them who may be suffering. I’m not going to get into the details here, but visit their website to learn more about they day and the education they provide. This is an incredibly important topic and one that really needs to get more attention.
