My Spring Weekend Uniform

I was struggling with what I wanted to write about today. You see, I had these outfit pictures, but no topic. I had just worn this outfit I really liked, so I had taken pictures in them, but with no exact post in mind (this happens every once in a while). So I was staring at these pictures and then I realized, I’ve basically worn some variation of this outfit all spring! So why not break that down and share it with you?

My Spring Weekend Uniform

Since I spend the week dressing up for work, I value my weekends for my time to dress down and embrace my comfort. Here are the components that make up my uniform.

Tees

I love my tees. I have a drawer full of t-shirts and they really don’t get enough daily wear. Which is really sad considering how comfortable they are. Weekends then become the time that I try to get as much wear out of them as possible. These knot-tie tees from J.Crew Factory happen to be a favorite because of how stinking comfortable they happen to be.

Jeans

My love of jeans knows no boundaries. You know how some people are like, I love coming home and taking off my pants? Honestly, if I’m wearing a good pair of jeggings, I couldn’t care less. I’m dreading when it becomes too hot and humid this summer to wear jeans. Since it hasn’t gotten too hot or humid yet this spring, I’ve basically been wearing them every single day.

Cardigans and Crew-neck Sweatshirts

This is really key to my uniform. Why? Well, two reasons. First, cozy is the key to my weekend and what’s more cozy than a sweatshirt or cardigan? Second, there are two things I tend to do on weekends: movies and working out of coffee shops. Both of which tend to be air conditioned and chilly. So layering is necessary. I’ve been really into crew-neck sweatshirts lately, so I plan on doing a full post soon on some of my favorite ones.

Flats

My day gloves, sneakers, or mules. I don’t care as long as my feet are super comfortable and I can walk all over the city (I need to get my steps in!). And yes, my sneaker collection is incredibly cute in case you were wondering. Also, yes, these heeled mules are also comfortable to walk in.

That’s my spring weekend uniform! Do you have one? I’d love to know what yours looks like!
