I’m in trouble. The Old Navy Spring Arrivals are too good right now. These are just a few of the tops I ordered, but if you saw my February budget, then you know that I also picked up another top, a suede jacket, a faux-leather jacket and the best work pants. And trust me, I have quite a few more things to try on on the way. If you haven’t gone to check out their new selections, don’t worry, I shared some of my favorites for you at the bottom of today’s post. There’s also more reviews to come, don’t worry (not that I thought you were).

Ignore the wrinkles, I promise it’s cuter without them. So this top is a loose fitting popover with mini bell sleeves. It’s also really light and cute when I tuck it in. The problem is, do I need it? Probably not. I should probably return it. I’m just so drawn to it and I don’t know why.

Verdict: Still undecided, leaning towards no

I liked this top, it was like and airy, and I could see it being perfect for gross humid summer days. The problem? I’m pretty sure I own it already. Or at least, multiple versions like it. I don’t need another version. Sorry Old Navy!

Verdict: Return, still cute though!

This top looked so soft and cozy online. It also looked like it would be such a good stand alone piece that I could potentially dress up or down for work. The good news was, it was super cozy. The bad news was, it didn’t fit that well. If you look at the neckline, you can see that the fabric was so thick, that when they folded it over to make a neckline, the fabric created a nice big bump. It ended up sticking up at least a half an inch off of my shoulder. Sorry, but no. The sleeves were also just too long for my arms.

Cozy can only do so much.

Verdict: Return

Old Navy Faux-Leather Moto Jacket for Women

Sorry if it seems a little tight, I can’t resist a good side by side comparison. I think at Old Navy, I tend to be a petite unless it has shoulders. This jacket. Looking at the two, you can’t really see, but the jacket is fairly tight across my shoulders. In fact, I’m not sure if I could wear any other layers next in there. Also , the sleeves on the petite are much much shorter than I’m used to. If I move at all, they come up above my wrists. Finally, the bottom hem. The bottom of the petite hits right above my hips, making it look a little cropped. If I try to lift my hands above my head, hello belly button! Trying the medium on right after was a pretty easy decision. It fit correctly (no corrections needed) and it’s not too fussy with zippers, buttons, and metal.

And now, I can finally stop my leather jacket hunt. Thank got. it was starting to get ridiculous.

Verdict: Keep

And now the best part, it’s time for you to start shopping the spring arrivals!
