Well June was…a month. My couch and I continue to be best friends, but I was also able to branch out and make friends with a deck chair on my building’s roof. I also become slightly more motivated this month, so there’s that!

Currently, Vol. 52: Masterpiece Mysteries

cooking

Random recipes off of pinterest and the Food Network. I finally gave up (or gave in?) and decided it was time to mix up what I was eating. My first venture was with a recipe I saw on The Pioneer Woman one Saturday morning. I was getting hungry as I watched her make this baked ravioli. The more I watched it, I realized, this is so simple, why would I not make it? After that was so delicious, I’ve been hunting for super simple, but super delicious recipes that both my boyfriend and I will eat. He doesn’t like cheese (it’s ridiculous), so it’s been a challenge), but it’s been delicious at least!

Also, has anyone else watched the Spring Baking Championship? I’ve almost finished all of it and I’m almost done with all Holiday Baking Championship. It’s so much fun!

photographing

….what now? I feel like I don’t even know what a camera is anymore. The closest I feel like I’ve gotten to taking pictures is putting my camera on a tripod, setting it on auto, and hitting the button on my remote. It’s been working out okay, but I really miss Kim.

Oh! I forgot, I did take pictures with Deborah the other week, so I guess I did take some real pictures.

sharing

What I’ve been wearing! I’ve been trying to take pictures of what I’m wearing in quarantine to share with you each day. Since I’ve been working and have to look decent from the waist up, the pictures are not just sweatpants every day. I’ve definitely forgotten to take pictures plenty of times, but luckily, there’s been plenty of days. Here’s my post from yesterday and my post from earlier in quarantine.

trying

To get through my back catalog of e-galleys. I’ve been really lucky in the fact that I have gotten a lot of advanced copies for review of books from publishers. However, I haven’t been able to get to reading a handful (…..cough a lot) of them. So I’m trying now to go back and read through a lot of them, especially big upcoming books. If I’m good about it, it also works out in favor for all of you, because then I can tell you what books to read! Wish me luck!

wondering

How I managed to miss the fact that there’s a whole Masterpiece Mysteries section of PBS that was going to completely suck me in? Who knew! I started watching Grantchester and finished the first season in one day. How was it so easy to get sucked into this one? Say it with me: hot priest. It’s not as cheeky as Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, but it’s still pretty good. There’s also five seasons, so plenty to dive into! And then of course I’ll start digging into the rest of the Masterpiece Mysteries collection. There’s enough to last me well into my old age there.

As always, linking up with Anne!
