Unfortunately, the damage from Hurricane Dorian was terrible and it’s going to take the Bahamas a long time to rebuild (I’ve heard that it’s worse that Puerto Rico, but I can’t confirm). Hurricane Dorian Relief options are still going strong though and there are may ways that you can help to support Hurricane Dorian relief efforts.
Here are a few sites and resources you can go to to donate to Hurricane Dorian Relief efforts:
- Washington Post round-up up resources
- The Islands of the Bahamas has put together a hurricane relief effort on their own website, where they’re accepting donations and specific goods.
- Delivering Good and B Strong has been partnering together to raise funds which they use to provide emergency supplies and gift cards to recovering communities.
