Friday Night Links

(my own puppy from growing up)
Do Good
After visiting St. Jude in the beginning of the month, it really reminded me about how much I really love some of the causes that I fundraise for and how I really want to introduce you to other ways you can help give back in a way that’s meaningful for you. I’m going to try out adding a section to Friday Night Links to talk about different charitable causes, events, or products that you can’t buy. This won’t take away from Products with a Cause (which is coming back next week!), but it’ll be a quick way to add a little more thoughtfulness back in your life.
Since the theme for the Stumbled Upon Bloggers this month is dogs, I thought this would be a good opportunity to talk about one of my favorite annual events in the beginning of February…the puppy bowl! While the puppy bowl is a way to watch adorable puppies run around for a few hours, it’s also a platform for helping dogs and other animals become adopted.

Even if you can’t adopt right now, you can always volunteer at an animal shelter and play with the pets there!

All of Joie’s new spring pieces are making me seriously crave some floral pieces!
What are your thoughts on slip on sneakers? Great option for spring?

Around the Web
Awww, Snape. This had me tearing up a little. It’s worth the 15 minute watch.
On my list of ice cream I now need to try: The Tonight Dough.
Also, Jimmy Fallon and Taylor Swift win at jumbo-tron dancing.
Speaking of Taylor Swift (because really, am I ever not?), she and PAUL MCCARTNEY played Shake It Off together. What the what.
The only thing that would have made this Barbie better is if her shirt had said “Hello World.” Overall though, this concept is kind of creeping me out.
I thought seeing the Potomac River frozen over was fascinating, but this is amazing to look at.
