Have you heard about Drag Queen Story Hours? They’re programs that have been popping up at libraries all over the country. The title is pretty self explanatory, but the more you learn about them, the more inspiring they are. Drag Queen Story Hours have also faced a lot of push back throughout the United States and I’m sure you can guess why. But they’ve also continued to prevail and spread across the country.
So why am I talking about Drag Queen Story Hours today?
Because the DC Public Library system is hosting one! If you live in the DC area, you can head to the Line Hotel on Saturday, February 22 for Drag Queen Story Hour! If you don’t live in the area, check out the main website to find your own local event.
