I know that a lot of people are doing fun Halloween things this weekend, so why not find a way to help others have a fun and safe Halloween?
Blue Pumpkins
If you haven’t ever heard of blue pumpkins for Halloween, now is the time to educate yourself!
In the past, blue pumpkins were used to indicate an allergy friend candy at the house, which is still true.
But, a second meaning has been added to it. When you see a kid carrying a blue pumpkin or blue candy basket this year, that means that the child is autistic, or nonverbal. It’s a great way to know that you may have to shift how you interact with the child. So make sure that you’e looking out for blue pumpkins this year!
