Do Something Good

I think that Barbie might be slowing taking over the Do Something Good section. They’ve really just been stepping up their game over the last few years.

Their latest announcement? Barbie in a wheelchair! Yes! Mattel has been continuing to strive to make Barbie more representative of her audience over the years. That’s including everything from changing Barbie’s body types, to Barbie’s coming out, and a Barbie based on the Olympian Fencer Iblihaji Muhammad who wears a Hijab,

This latest change is amazing though. Not only will they be releasing a Barbie in a wheelchair, but they’ll also be releasing ones with new hair textures, new body types, and other disabilities (like a prosthetic leg). The full line comes out in June, so get excited!
