Do Something Good

I’m going to keep this short because the article and interview really speaks for itself. This man who promotes “books before boxing” is a serious hero. If you’re going to read anything this week, make it this.

I read that article on “why women drink” the other day and there were parts of it that were really good (that women on a panel just got to me) but mostly it reeked of judgement to me. The author seemed to be stereotyping why all women drink, which is obviously not entirely accurate, but I get it was coming from her own experience. That said, there were some good points on alcohol infiltrating everything, something that seems nice and fun if you enjoy drinking but may not always be so innocent.

    • Yeah, I went in to it really interested (as someone who doesn’t drink), but I agree with you that it was pretty judgmental. I had much higher hopes for it, but it really just didn’t meet them. Maybe I need to write my own article on this.
