That the holidays came way too fast this year! Seriously, wasn’t it just Labor Day weekend? Now I feel like it’s just a sprint until the end of the year. But I’m pretty excited to go home for Thanksgiving, so the holidays can approach as fast as they’d like. A new attempt at soups and stews. My first attempt at a soup that wasn’t matzoh ball soup? Not that great. It tasted delicious, don’t get me wrong, but I think it may have made me sick. I may have also just caught something on the plane, but either way, I won’t be trying that recipe again. Do you have any good soup or stew suggestions? Preferably anything I can throw in a crock pot.

How wonderful my parents truly are. Seriously, they are the best. This past month they brought me and my sister to Albuquerque for the International Balloon Festival. They’re also just always there in general and always looking out for us. Thanksgiving this year (and really every year) will be thinking about how wonderful they are.

Who murdered the made up senator! Haha, just kidding. I did an escape room this past weekend and it was a lot of fun, but my group did a little less than stellar. Lesson learned: do not pick the hardest room they offer on your first try.
