Remember a few weeks ago when I talked about transitioning your work wardrobe to from winter to spring? Well, after that post, I thought it might be fun to talk about what I think might be the perfect transition piece for your weekend wardrobe. Or at least, it’s my favorite piece.

So why do I think this sweater is the perfect transition piece? Let’s break it down.

First, on the winter side, it’s fuzzy and warm. (And super soft, but that’s good for any season, really). It’s also loose, so you can also layer it over a tank top if you need that extra bit of warm. One side also has that high back/neck which will definitely stop the breeze.

On the spring side, it’s all about that deep v. It’s perfect for keeping you cool and let’s be honest, I love a fun back. It’s just plain fun. You can also wear the V in the front, because why not. Also, if you don’t want to wear this with a strapless bra, or you just hate strapless bras, this sweater has built in bra strap holders! You can easily keep your straps from slipping out! If that’s not brilliant, I don’t know what is.

Now, the one thing  need to warn you about with this sweater is that it runs big. I sized down one size with this sweater and I probably could have considered going down one more (maybe). I would suggest ordering two sizes so you can figure out which size works well for you.

Do you have a perfect transition piece? If you do, let me know what it is!
