It’s Labor Day Weekend and you know what that means? It’s time to take a look at the Fall 2017 Book Previews. I’ve been looking through the list of books coming out over the next few months and I’ve put together a list of the books that I’m most looking forward to this Fall.

Miss Kopp’s Midnight Confessions by Amy Stewart

Comes out September 5th
Note: I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for  an honest review.
Is it weird to say that I devoured the first two books in this series? It’s based on Constance Kopp, the first female Sheriff in the United States and her two other sisters. I love getting to see these glimpses into their lives and learn more about this woman who I never knew existed. I have read this book and I’m not sure if it’s my favorite of the three, but the ending was left pretty open for a fouth book, so I’m hoping that this wasn’t the last we’ll see of Constance. If you’ve read the other books in the series though, you need to pick this one up as well.

Origin by Dan Brown

Comes out October 3rd
Much like my friends over at Book Riot (okay, they’re my friends in my mind), I’ve been waiting and waiting for D. Brizzle to drop his newest book. And it’s finally time. Just plan to take a day to yourself the week of October 3rd to read this.

Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward

Comes out September 5th
I keep hearing Jesmyn Ward’s name and I can’t believe I still haven’t read anything by her. Well now her newest book is coming out and it’s time for that to end.

Sourdough by Robin Sloan

Comes out September 5th
When I read the synopsis of this book, I knew that this was going to be a book to look forward to this fall. It starts in the world of tech, but quickly goes into the world of underground farmer’s markets and secret food technology clubs. I’m honestly not doing the description any justice, but just trust me and and add it to your holds list.

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

Comes out September 12th
After her last hit, I can’t wait for her for her newest release. Haven’t read her first book? Pick it up first to get excited.

Bonfire by Krysten Ritter

Comes out November 7th
Um, Krysten Ritter (from The B In Apt 23 and Jessica Jones) is writing a thriller. I’m in. The end.

Artemis by Andy Weir

Comes out November 14th
We FINALLY have a new book by the author of The Martian. I’m trying to get my hands on it so I can tell you guys about it, but I may just have to wait until the November 14th release date.

This is just a tiny look at all of the books  coming out this fall. There are so many more to come and don’t worry, I plan on sharing as many as I can with you!

  1. Yes, can’t wait for the Celeste Ng – I just heard such a good review of it that made me sooo excited to get my hands on it. Sourdough is on my list too, because I loved that author’s Mr. Penumbra book. And I’ve never read any Jesmyn Ward either, but she’s on my radar now with interviews about her new release, so I might have to check it out. Yay, good new releases! I’m also excited about Gabriel Zevin’s Young Jane Young, which I think was just released.

    • I thought I wasn’t going to like Young Jane Young, but I ended up really liking it. I think that the format change ups in the different sections really helped me. I think that it might annoy other people though.

  2. So many of these are on my to-read list too (like Sing Unburied Sing, along with Salvage the Bones, which I never read, and Sourdough). I didn’t know that Andy Weir has a new one coming, that’s exciting! I loved The Martian and I can’t wait to see what he does next.

    • Yes! I’m so excited to read it too! I just got approved for the galley, so I’ll report back and let you guys know what I think!
