For this month’s Third Thursday theme, Briana picked “most cherished item.” It was pretty easy to pick what I was going to talk about, since it’s appeared in almost every outfit post.
I received my grandmother’s high school shortly after she passed away a few years back. She had a lot of jewelry and my mom mentioned that I could pick out a few things. While there was a lot of costume jewelry, I loved the idea of having something that she had kept with her for so many years and actually meant something to her.

I’ve worn it almost every day since and it’s been my favorite piece of jewelry. It’s also why you’ll frequently see it pop up in outfit posts, even though it’s not focused on.
