The Gold Flats

With the weather slowly getting colder (very slowly, darn it DC), I’ve started going into hibernation mode. Aka sitting on my couch with a book or to watch a new TV show.

I powered my way through Outlander (and was really disappointed when I realize that I have to wait forever for season 2), I’m catching up on Elementary and Crazy Ex Girlfriend, and I totally dove into Supergirl.

For books, I feel like I’ve been hitting a slump. The year started off very strong with “Year of Yes” and “Every Last Word” but it feels like duds since then. I keep putting down more books because they’ve just felt meh. Luckily, I have a lot of library books in my queue, so I’m hoping one of them is a winner soon.

I’ve been obsessed with sweaters lately (as per usual), especially “faux layer” sweaters. When this one went on sale at Loft, I really couldn’t resist. Also, it was on sale for like $25, so that helped out a bit too.

It was also a good chance to break out these flats! I’ve owned them for over a year and I realized that they’ve never made it on to the blog! Now, I know that I was just talking about how it’s getting cold, but it was freakishly warm on the day I took these pictures. Also, I do tend to wear flats in the winter, since I head to work in my winter boots and then need something to change into.
