I have been waiting months to share this book with you guys. It’s a “can’t put down” read and I think you’ll love it as much as I did!

The Daydreams by Laura Hankin

TWO SENTENCE SUMMARY

Kat thought her acting life was behind her and she would never have to think about the teen show she starred in. However, when her former co-star says he would be open to a reunion, Kat is put in the spotlight again and is worried her huge secret will come out.

WHAT I LIKED MOST AND WHAT FRUSTRATED ME

What I liked most about this book was how quickly I was pulled into it! I picked up this book one Saturday afternoon and didn’t stop reading until I was finished. The plot feels so realistic, the characters are relatable, and you just want to see how the story goes.

I don’t know if there was anything that frustrated me about this book. Maybe that there isn’t a sequel? I just want more of these characters.

RECOMMENDED FOR

Like, Romantic Comedy, this is perfect for anyone who loves a behind the scenes look. I think it’s also great for all of us 90’s kids who grew up with child stars that seemed to disappear. Also, the show that Kat’s character starred on sounded a lot like glee or high school musical, so I think fans of those shows would love to read this.

STAR RATING

5 out of 5 stars!
