Shopping Reviews, Vol. 18

The shopping reviews are back! The combination of being super busy and the sun setting early in the day made it hard to get these pictures taken. But thanks to a little bit of free time and turning on all of the lights, I was able to get some pictures taken!

I’ve been looking for a utility vest with little luck. Everything that I’ve found that I’ve like has been way too expensive. But I was looking through Shopstyle for tomorrow’s post and I came across this beauty! Since I already had a trip to Target coming up, I checked out this beauty while I was there and it was love.

Verdict: Keep

I bought a sheath dress from Old Navy last year and I truly got my money’s worth. When I saw that a few more sheath dresses had been added to the collection, I couldn’t wait to pick them up. I loved the stripes detail on this one and thought it would be perfect for the summer.

Verdict: Keep

You know how much I loved the gray swing dress, so I had to pick up the blue one too!

They brought the sheath dress back in more colors and it was on sale. Honestly, I can’t wait for my budget round up at the end of the month so you can see how good the deal on this dress was.

You honestly can’t even tell that this dress is from Old Navy. The fabric is thick an the sizing is true to size.
Verdict: Keep

This top looked so cute on the model. It was not so cute on me. I kind of felt like a flying squirrel wearing it to be honest. Plus, on top of that if I raise my arms, you can see stomach. No good.

Verdict: Return

The skirt was beautiful with thick fabric. The sizing overall was fairly accurate and I loved the zipper detail on the size. Unfortunately, the skirt was just way too long for me.

Verdict: Return

Halogen® Wool & Cashmere Drape Front Sweater Vest (Petite S)
I saw this vest on Brighton and I honestly loved it. However, the price was a little too high for me. Luckily, the price dropped and I got a surprise Nordstrom Note in the mail! Since the vest was a mix of wool and cashmere it was incredibly soft. I think it’ll be perfect for layering with some of my swing dresses and legging!

Did anyone else see this coat when it was at J.Crew (I think?) last year? I was completely in love with it, but as always, the price was too high. I saw it pop up again on SheIn for $30 so I decided to try it out. Overall, the fabric of this coat was excellent and I was pretty impressed by the lining. The only thing I can’t decide about is does it look too big? I’m so bad at coats shopping so I can’t tell. Help! What do you think?!
