Looking at this list, it’s kind of funny seeing how many of these items I actually bought in September. Less than half of them maybe? Some are carry overs from August that arrived right as I finished up my August budget. Others are ones from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I’ve FINALLY decided on and I’ve added into my budget. It means a higher budget than I wanted or expected for September, but oddly enough, I’m okay with that. It’s actually a little funny how at ease I’ve been with my budget the last few months. Maybe it’s because some of the things are carry overs? Or maybe it’s because I’ve also been pulling things out of my closet like a crazy person as I add in things that are, slightly more expensive, but also (hopefully) more durable.

I’ve also been getting really into the closet organizing that I’ve been hoping to do the last few months. The other evening when I had some time to myself, I put on an audiobook and started attacking my closet. I started rearranging my dresses to a more reasonable order (work, casual, date-able, formal) and pulling out ones that I had no desire to wear anymore. Then I started doing the same with cardigans. It felt amazing. I’m by no means done yet, but just putting things into a new order felt ten times better.

What has your month of shopping looked like? Hopefully you’ve been able to hold yourself back better than I have!
