Saturday’s Something Good: Feeling Beautiful

Saturday's Something Good: Feeling Beautiful | Something Good, face masks, beauty

Confession time: I’ve never tried a face mask before this post. I don’t know why, but they intimidated me SO MUCH. Really, anything beauty wise has a tendency to intimidate me (we don’t need to talk about how long it took me to try dry shampoo). However, when I was contacted with the chance to try out some face mask for Freeman, I figured it was time to (kind of) get over my fear of new beauty products.
They sent me over five masks and I decided to try out the avocado and oatmeal clay mask since I liked the idea of deep cleansing and purified pores.

The steps for the mask were pretty simple (since I wasn’t wearing any makeup):
1. Apply the mask, making sure to cover your face AND neck.

2. Wait for it to dry.
3. Kill time looking at your phone and doing chores while it dries (it only takes about 10 minutes).

4. Wash it off and voila!
Since I’m highly nit-picky, as soon as it was off, I started looking at my skin. It honestly already felt smoother and looked clearer. I think this may have turned me into a face mask convert, because I’m already excited to try out some of the other masks, especially the cucumber mask.
I do have a note for future self and all of you: there’s a reason that you always see girls with headbands on when they’re wearing masks. Don’t forget next time and put the darn headband on!
Note: Face masks were provided for this post by Influenster, but as always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting that brands that support Something Good!
