Saturday’s Something Good

For today’s Something Good, I decided to tell you about my favorite podcasts. In addition to listening to audiobooks, I love to listen to podcasts whenever I’m running errands or walking somewhere. I’ve tried a few different ones, but here are my favorites:
Go Bayside!
I don’t remember how I came across this one, but in this podcast April Richardson (of  Chelsea Lately) invites a friend over to watch an episode of Saved by the Bell and then they “critically deconstruct” it. If you’re a fan of Saved by the Bell, this is definitely for you. I’m going to be really disappointed when she runs out of Saved by the Bell episodes.
NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour
Your weekly update about what’s going on in the pop culture world with commentary from some of NPR’s most entertaining. I even got to go to a live taping of this back in December!
Stuff Mom Never Told You
Of the “How Stuff Works” fame Caroline and Cristen tell you all about the topics that mom never told you about. Their topics are always really interesting and I love how they use fan mail to not only answer questions, but help teach listeners even more. Plus, check out their youtube videos!
Stuff You Should Know
Josh and Chuck, also from “How Stuff Works” help you learn even more about the most random topics. Like Mom, they answer all of your questions and address topics about, well, stuff you should know!
This American Life
Another NPR goodie. I can’t help it, I’m a nerd and these stories are fascinating.
