Saturday’s Something Good

Art: Amazing Shadow Sculptures. I was so amazed looking through all of this.

Movies: The Last 5 Years movie has a poster! And it’s going to be out in 2014! Also, if you haven’t seen Saving Mr. Banks yet, go see it. It was the first time in a long time that I actually wanted to applaud when a movie ended.

Movies: Fun facts from Bring It On. Remember that movie? Yeah, you know you loved it.

Fun: Girls Who Read.

Fun: That was one, um, special, Christmas tree.

Theater: Harry Potter heads to the stage. I was nervous when I first heard about this, but now that I hear more about the story that they’re planning on using, I’m actually pretty excited.

Fun: Pump up work out songs. Yes, why yes I did just put working out under fun.

Cooking: I visited this store for the first time this week and I’m in love. Definitely going here to get cooking/baking tools from now on.

Fun: This reminded me so much of my puppy when we first got her.

Fun: 2013 Looks Much Better in Play-Doh

Books: Remember the Baby Sitter’s Club? This was one of my favorite series when I was growing up. I collected those books like it was my job.

Good People: A letter to Kayne West from an Ohio Police Officer. After Kayne compared the work he did to being a soldier or a police officer, an actual police officer decided to set him straight.

Fun: 33 GIFs From 2013 That Will Make You Laugh Every Time.

Fun: The future leaders of America are starting out on the right tiny foot.

TV: Now that all of my shows are on winter hiatus, I’ve been binge-watching My So-Called Life on Hulu this week and I’m in love. If you haven’t watched it before, go watch it now, it’s absolutely amazing. It’s stars 90s Claire Danes and Jared Leto in high school. Also, it takes place in Pittsburgh!  Do you really need any more prodding to go watch it?

Books: I’ve also been reading as much as possible with all of my time off. I just finished Man in a Suit (which I read in one day) and I’m now on to Orange is the New Black. So many books!
