The Red Jeans

I opened up this red jeans post and stared at it for a good 10 minutes, because I could not think of ANYTHING to write here. I think my brain is shot right now.

This weekend was a much chiller weekend than past weekends. A holiday party and two visits to Metro Cooking DC (it was so much fun). Also, it snowed on Saturday, so half of DC freaked out and insisted on staying inside.

You don’t have to tell this girl twice.

Old Madewell Sweater (Similar, Similar) / Similar Jeans / Target Mules

I spent my Saturday afternoon and evening cuddled up on the couch watching The Crown while my slow cooker was making chili. Yes, it was as magical as it sounds. I also did zero blog work.

Except now we’re here at Sunday night and I have no idea what I meant to have this post be about.

This outfit? It’s definitely a resusable outfit. You could wear it to a family gathering, holiday party, or just use the red jeans to shake things up a big. If it’s too color in your city for mules, sub them out for a pair of ankle boots or riding boots. As long as you can see the red, you’ll be okay!

I know colored jeans were in for a while and then they went out, but I love bringing them back out every once in a while. They can be a fun way to mix up your outfit a little and surprise people.

If you still have a pair, I challenge you to pull them out and wear them with something this week!

Share the picture on facebook and tag me in the post so I can see it. I can’t wait to see how you style your jeans (especially if they’re red jeans!).
