I’ve been pretty good about not shopping this month, but I realized that I hadn’t shared these try on’s! I figured I should share them now though, especially since some of them are in the Nordstrom 2019 Winter Sale!

Gal Meets Glam Collection Katherine Fantasy Bouclé Fit & Flare Dress, Blue, Size 0

I’ve wanted a Gal Meets Glam dress for so long. Unfortunately everything I’ve liked has either sold out in my size by the time it went on sale or didn’t fit well. I managed to grab this one as soon as it went on sale and I’m so glad I did! It fits perfectly. 100% true to size and the length is perfect as well. My only hesitation (which you can’t see in this picture) is that this dress does have some sparkle to it. It makes it more of a holiday-ish dress than I would prefer, but I’m so in love with it, that I almost don’t care.

Verdict: Keep!

Dreamers by Debut Turtleneck Sweater Dress, Ivory, XS

I really didn’t expect to like this dress so much. Like all other sweater dresses, I expected it to be too tight or too large or something off. Nope! It fit exactly how I want a sweater dress to fit. The material was also SO SOFT. Like, take a nap soft.

The only downside of the dress? Like most white fabrics, it’s kind of see through. For me to actually wear this dress, I will definitely need to buy a slip dress. Or do a tee + slip combo. But you know what? It’s worth it.

Verdict: I’m pretty sure I’m keeping it!

BP. Mock Neck Sweater Dress, Red, XXS

Another sack dress bites the dust. This dress was so close to being good. Like just a hair off. But, it was just a bit too long, a bit too loose, a bit too meh. I just didn’t love it enough. If I was a little bit taller, it could have been perfect. However, it is SO SOFT. I almost overlooked all of the imperfectness because of how soft it is.

Verdict: Return

They weren’t lying when they put supersoft in the name of the sweater. This sweater is SO SOFT. It also fit better than I expected it too. Based off of past sweaters that I’ve gotten from J.Crew this year, I was expected it to be loose or a little oversized. But nope. It fit like a glove. I actually loved it so much that I decided to return a different green sweater that I was planning on keeping. This one was so much better!

Verdict: Keep

Old Navy Slim-Fit Luxe Rib-Knit Top for Women, Navy Stripe, XS

I had a black and navy tee that I absolutely loved, but was starting to wear thin. When I saw this one on Old Navy’s website, I knew it was the perfect replacement. And it is! The sleeves are a little long (which I prefer). I would say that the neckline is a little wider than a crewneck, but it’s not exactly a round neck or a boat neck.I was able to adjust it though so it sit close to a crew neck. The only thing I was iffy about was the ribbing (I’m not a huge fan of ribbing), but I actually like it for this top.

verdict: Keep.
