How to Prep Your Budget for the Holiday Season

Around this time last year, I decided that it was time to start really compiling my holiday savings knowledge and sharing it with you guys in a more concise way. I played around with a few different ways to do it and ultimately landed on doing an email challenge to show you How to Prep Your Budget for the Holiday Season. It was a week long challenge and each day you received a short lesson and a (fairly easy) to do list.

It was a lot of fun, but I don’t know if an email list was really the way to go. After all, some people don’t like sharing their emails. Or, once they’ve shared them, they don’t participate in the challenges! The struggle is real guys, I understand.

This year, I’ve decided to change it up a little bit. Instead of putting it all into emails, I’m going to do a week of blog posts all about how to prep your budget for the holiday season! So what’s the week going to look like? What are you going to learn? Let’s check it out:

How to Prep Your Budget for the Holiday Season

Tuesday

Making a list and checking it twice: figuring out everything you need to buy and wear

Thursday

Finding the best deals and Never paying full price for anything you buy this holiday season

Friday

How to make money when you shop online.

The individual posts

Each of the posts will focus on a big idea and then break it down for you. I’ll explain how to do each thing, why it’s going to help you, and how it’ll save you money! I’ll also include some (very) optional homework that you can do to help implement what I talked about in that post.

Most of what I talk about in the posts are going to be related to online shopping (since it’s what I do best), but I’ll also include what can apply to shopping in stores and how. That way you can always bookmark the posts on your phone to reference them when you’re out shopping! I want to make your shopping life as easy as possible.

Don’t worry, I want us both to save (and make) a little bit of money this holiday season, so hold on to your pants guys, it’s time to start saving!
