What to Wear to a Friendsgiving, Part 2

Alright, it’s time for your second Friendsgiving outfit. This time it’s all about the more casual dinner. You know, the one where football will probably be on. Everyone will most likely end up on couches. You’ll definitely feel that food baby.

Luckily, getting dressed for that one is pretty easy.

J.Crew Factory Cardigan / Old Navy Peplum Tee (Similar) / Old Navy Rockstar Denim / J.Crew Factory Leopard Flats / Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace

Why?

Well, to be honest, no one is really expecting that much from you. Sorry, but it’s the truth.

That being said, I wouldn’t show up looking like a slob.

Instead, I took the idea of a basic jeans and a tee outfit and took it up a notch for this Friendsgiving outfit. I traded regular blue jeans for a pair of green ones. I also took my basic tee and upgraded it to a loose black peplum. It’s a little more fun, plus….

….if you’re looking to hide your food baby, that loose peplum is the key.

It’ll cover up any and all acquired food babies throughout the evening, so you can eat to your hearts content. Finally, I topped the outfit off with a cardigan (because I get cold and cardigans are classy), a long necklace, and a pair of leopard print flats. I don’t know why, but does anyone feel like leopard print flats makes it look like you actually tried?

The nice thing about this outfit is that it would also work pretty well for your family Thanksgiving. That’s one less outfit you have to worry about then!

Are you going to any Friendsgiving celebrations this year? Or do you have multiple Thanksgiving dinners that you need to stop by?
