Do Good
Depending on where you live, we’re beginning to enter a new season: construction season, rainy season, tourist season (or if you’re in DC, all three…). However, out of all of these, there’s one season that every city experiences: charity walk season. Running from now until October, you’ll hear about a different charity walk or run for just about every charity imaginable. However, I’m not here to complain about that, in fact, just the opposite. Go sign up for one! Now is the perfect time to easily support a charity that you care about. Just find the organization that does something important to you and sign up! If you don’t like running, many of these either are based in walks or have a shorter walking component. This year, I’ll be fundraising for the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk in September, but in the past, I’ve done the Breast Cancer Walk, Walk MS, and countless others (I loooove walking, so these types of events are perfect for me).
