Do Something Good 
I came across this idea when I was doing a little research for a guest post, but did you know that organizations collect Valentine’s Day cards to hand out to the troops? Even better, you can have kids create the cards to send to troops? I don’t know if I can handle how adorable the idea is.

Clearly, I don’t have kids, but as someone who use to baby sit a lot, this would be such a fun thing to do in place of coloring one afternoon! If cards aren’t your thing, you can also put together packs of candy to send off to them.
