Because he’s happy! Okay, maybe that’s not the reason he did this, but Pharrell has a pretty philanthropic project up his sleeve. Pharrell is planning on building a $35 million 30,000 square foot youth center in his hometown Virginia Beach. The youth center will be a place for kids to gather after school to work on their homework, meet with mentors, and take part in other activities. After school programs are a great way to keep kids occupied and out of trouble after school, so it’s great to hear about another program to help out students.
