Do Something Good

I’ve been getting the volunteering itch lately? Does that sound weird? Does anyone else have those days where they want to volunteer for an event or just get out and help someone? Am I just rambling at this point?

Anyways….for those of you who are like me and want to volunteer, but don’t know where to get started, there’s DoSomething.org. Do Something is one of the world’s largest organizations for young people to help them get out and tackle volunteer campaigns. You can use the site to search millions of campaigns that are looking for volunteers and sign up right through the site. These events range from going out into your community to smaller things that you can do at home. It’s the perfect way to get involved in a way that matches the time you have available.

Shopping Time

I really don’t shop online anymore unless I can get cash back when I shop (it makes me feel like I’m getting an added discount). One of my favorite sites to do that with is Giving Assistant> I’ve been using them for months now and they’ve been great to work with. Sign up (using my referral link) and save a little more money when you shop.
The slip on shoes that I’ve been watching went on sale and you can bet I snatched them up!
This dress keeps going in and out of stock, but I finally caught it when it was in stock!
Macys had an amazing one day sale last week and I picked up this dress, this one, and this dress…but I’m going to try to only keep one. Any suggestions?
Someone needs to stop me before I pick up this pair of oxfords or these sneakers
