Have you heard about Red Nose Day? For the second year in a row, NBC is celebrating a day dedicated to helping kids have fun! Though Red Nose Day has a bit of a history behind, it celebrated it’s second anniversary here in the US yesterday.
On Red Nose Day, NBC televised a live event to help raise money for young adults and children in some of the poorest communities in the United States. This year the money raised for the Red Nose Day Fund in 2016 will go to charities working on the ground to deliver the basic needs of kids living in poverty, including the Boys and Girls Club, charity: water, and Gavi. To raise the money, people throughout the United States were encouraged to purchase something from the Red Nose Shop at their local Walgreens.
