Face Masks Two Ways

For blogger styles two ways this month, Anne and I decided that we would style this summer’s most fashionable trend: face masks! Also, t-shirt dresses because they’re super comfortable, but mostly face masks.

Serious About Face Masks

Let’s talk though. I’m not messing around this summer and I’m serious about keeping my face covered. There have been so many scientific studies that have shown how two people wearing masks significantly decrease your chances of spreading or contracting anything, so why take the risk?

Yeah, sometimes wearing the mask is uncomfortable, especially when it’s hot. But you know what’s more uncomfortable? Having a disease that makes you unable to breathe. So by covering myself up, I’m not only protecting myself, but I’m protecting you.

Where I’m Buying Mine

When the pandemic first started, it was pretty hard to get masks. If you were lucky, you could find one at CVS. But then, Etsy sellers started making their own masks, which was amazing. I picked up two adorable ones from there, which helped me through the first two months of quarantine. Especially since I had to get my own groceries.

Now, you can get masks basically everywhere! All of your favorite retailers are selling masks, from Old Navy to J.Crew. At this point you can really have one for every day of the week and you seriously have no excuse to not wear one.

T-Shirt Dresses

Before we wrap up, I want to mention one more thing. T-shirt dresses are my jam this summer. They’re perfect for being super lazy, comfortable, and looking good. All of my favorite ones have come from J.Crew Factory, but I know that Madewell has some good ones too. If you need something a little longer, J.Crew has some nice midi length dresses that are also probably great.
