Did July happen? Honestly, I’m not sure and I don’t think anyone can actually prove to me that it did. But here’s August and truthfully, I can’t wait for fall (I’m over humidity).

Currently Vol 65

admiring

Wedding dresses, but having no idea what I want personally. Well, okay, that’s a little bit of a lie. I keep coming across dresses I kind of like and I’m pretty sure I’m planning on buying a dress either second hand or for under $1,000. But really, that’s all I’ve decided. I haven’t tried on any of the dresses I like, so I have no idea if they would actually look good on me! I know, I need to get on it eventually, but truthfully, I’m not in that big of a rush and I’m open to anything. Basically every brand has a bridal section at this point, so if I even found something at ASOS, I would be okay with it.

anticipating

My next trip home! I love going to visit Milwaukee, so I’m excited to be going again soon. I’m going for a cousin’s wedding this time (and no, I still haven’t decided on a dress), but I tacked an extra week on to the trip so I could relax with my parents, see some friends, and take a quick trip up north.

enjoying

All of the media I’m consuming lately. Does that sound ridiculous? Honestly, I don’t even care. I’ve been really enjoying the books I’m reading, podcasts I’m listening to, and shows I’ve been watching. Don’t worry though, I’ll share:

spending

My money on a new pair of wireless headphones. I really like the pair I have, but they’re down to about two and a half hours of battery life before they need to be recharged again. You’d think that would be fine, until you’re running errands, getting a bunch of things done, and then all of a sudden your headphones die. Stopping everything to recharge them is a little bit of a no go for me. I’ve been reading through online tech reviews and here are some of the under $100 ones I’m considering.

saving

My dessert for the end of the day and it’s great! Last month I talked about how I was trying a new way of eating/meal plan to help me lose the weight I’ve gain recently. I figured this would be the best time to give an update. It’s been about a month and truthfully, I love it. It’s been really easy to plan out meals I’m going to eat, see what I’m actually eating, and see how I need to eat better. I was even able to feel comfortable during our vacation while we ate out. Even better, I’ve actually lost weight. Not a lot, but I feel good about myself and the direction I’m heading in.

But what I really like about this program is that I’m still able to eat dessert every day. If that isn’t a win, I don’t know what is!
