I’m so excited for this announcement today! Cookies by Something Good is live!
If you’ve been following me over on instagram, you may have seen that I picked up a new hobby over the last month. I’ve been needing something to fill my free time recently (more on that another time), and after taking a sugar cookie decorating class back in November, I became hooked! I’ve spent the last few months practicing and have really enjoyed getting to learn new techniques in decorating. After handing out cookies to basically everyone I know (as I practiced), I decided that it was time to do this for real.
Cookies by Something Good is live!
So we’re doing it, I’m officially open for business! Right now I’m only doing custom orders in DC (no shipping!), but I’m hoping that I can start to do some pre-sales for Mother’s Day and the end of the school year.

I have to say, I’m just so excited about this. I’ve always loved baking, from cookies to cupcakes to scones, I loved it. But sugar cookie decorating was a world that was just so foreign to me that I never thought it was a place that I would love so much.
Now that I’ve discovered the world of cookie decorating, I don’t want to leave it. It’s such a fun thing to share with people and I’m excited to share it with people on a larger level.
