January dragged on forever and February was about 2 seconds long. So I guess it’s March now? I guess that means it’s time for a new currently!

By the Book

fixing

All of my clothes that need tailoring. Oh my gosh, I’ve been putting this off for so long. I have clothes that either need a new clasp or to be hemmed. It’s almost spring and it’s time to finally stop putting these shenanigans off!

hearing

A new-to-me podcast! I’ve always been intrigued by self-help books, so I’ve loved listening to “By the Book.” This is a podcast where two women read some sort of self help book and then spend two weeks living their life “by the book.” The podcast actually started in 2018 (or 2017?), but I just started listening recently and I’ve been listening nonstop. I love hearing what’s worked, what hasn’t worked, and what books aren’t even worth my time.

borrowing

Too many books from the library. My TBR list keeps getting longer and longer. I’ve ended up returning quite a few books on Libby before I even get a chance to listen to them. It doesn’t help that I also still have audible and scribd where I get my audiobooks from too. Honestly, I don’t mind though. The more books the better. Especially when I end up going through bad book spells.

feeling

Like I got suckered into watching Love is Blind. But you know what? I don’t hate it. I think I’m going to finish this show in what, two or three days? It’s so interesting and I can’t wait to see the reunion. I’m not going to give away spoilers, but I will say that I think editing gave a few biased edits. Also, there were definitely a few characters made for tv.

recommending

Katy Keene on the the CW. This tv show is so dang cute. I’ve been needing a new tv show that’s just plain fun and this is it. It’s colorful, Katy Keene is adorable, and it’s what I wanted Riverdale to be (that it never was).

As always, linking up with Anne In Residence.
