Isn’t it great when non-profits have cute events that just take off? Today’s event? For $15, the Wisconsin Humane Society promised they would give donors a custom drawing of your pet….but they never promised it would be a good drawing of your pet.
So yes, the Wisconsin Humane Society got donors to pay $15 for bad custom pet drawings. The best part? The news of these bad custom pet drawings spread like wildfire (it even made it on to Mashable) and the Humane Society was FLOODED with requests! Over 300 people had donated at least $15 (raising over $8,000).
In fact, on February 26th, they announced that they had to close submissions for bad custom pet drawings! Luckily, by that point they had raised over $12,000. So I think it was safe to say that they had completed a pretty successful campaign.
