Happy December! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to curl up on the couch, drink all the warm beverages, and basically hibernate until it’s warm again. Anyone else with me?

Okay, it’s time to catch you up on what’s going on in my life.

Fake presents for my faux-holiday shoot! Ah, the weird part of being a blogger (and a little behind the scenes for you): having to set up a fake little holiday display to shoot holiday pictures. Normally I just use displays that other people have set up, but I was shooting everything a little earlier this year. So I wrapped a few empty boxes and made my cute little display. I had planned on taking it down, but I kind of liked my little holiday tray, so I’ve left it set up on my coffee table. It makes my apartment look a little more cheery!

baking

Well, I did bake an apple crisp for Thanksgiving and it was DELICIOUS! I actually posted a mini pies version of this recipe up on the blog a few years ago. So if you want to make it, just head over to this post!

The menorah! Okay, that won’t be for a few more weeks, but it’s always so much fun to do. I also finally have my own menorah this year, I just need to stock up on candles and then I’ll be good to go.

sending

All the emails I possibly can to get everything done in the next three weeks. You know, just a simple goal. But I have a week off from work during the week of Christmas, I wouldn’t mind getting to completely shut down. So I’m going to continue sending out all the emails and blog posts until I can get everything done!

enjoying

My new hobby! I’ve just started learning needlepoint and I absolutely love it! It’s so much fun and I love looking through all of the different patterns I can potentially make. Plus, I love that it can be a new way to make and give gifts to people.

As always, linking up with Anne In Residence.
