Alright, it’s time for the Office Holiday Party, take two (but with this bell sleeve top).

Before we get to talking about office parties, I need to talk about this top though. I was super nervous when I first ordered this top. I haven’t really gotten into as many trends this year (or at least it doesn’t feel like I have). Off the shoulder, cold shoulder, whatever shoulder didn’t happen and then mules took approximately 20 years for me to adjust to. I really didn’t think bell sleeves would make the cut.

Of course, then I saw this bell sleeve top in plaid.

It looked light and airy. Plus, it was blackwatch plaid and I love blackwatch plaid (black, blue, and plaid, all of my favorite colors).. So I ordered it just to try it. I kind of figured the bell sleeves would make it a no-go. But you know  what? The bell sleeves actually made it super cute and kicked it up a notch. All of a sudden, my plaid top seemed kind of fancy.

It even seemed like it might work for a holiday party.

Now we’re back to the office holiday party. Full circle (am I good, or what?). Guys, sometimes you just have to throw a pair of heels on and call it a day. Or in this case, heels and red lipstick. This is another office holiday party outfit that goes along the lines of, you can wear it to work, but it’s still festive enough that it can pass for your holiday party outfit as well. I’m all about the doubling up on outfits here people.

I don’t know if it’s being clever or lazy, but either way it works.

The bell sleeves say you’re dressed up, while the heels and red lips say you’re ready to party. If you want to take it a step even further, then I would throw on some fun sparkly silver drop earrings. I personally can’t stand anything more than studs, but if you’re a big earrings person, do it for me, please?
