As much as I’m getting better about not looking in my closet and thinking “I have nothing to wear” those days still happen. They’re less and less now, but they’re still a drag when they happen. However, this outfit wasn’t the result of that.

In fact, I didn’t even have to do any thinking for this outfit.
Anne did all of the thinking for me! A few days ago, she posted her Fall wardrobe and as I was looking at it, I realized I had a lot of those pieces already.
Actually, if I’m being honest with myself, I had most of the pieces already because that’s what happens when you follow a blogger who has similar tastes to you. Or I have similar tastes to her after reading her blog for a while? Who knows
Anyways, I saw these pieces in her post and this combination instantly popped out to me. Cognac, stripes, white after Labor Day, and the always winning necklace? Done.
So really this post is one big thank you to Anne. I think I may need her to make a mini Fall wardrobe for me too. Or I guess I could just take hers?
Oh also, while this post is a big Thank You to Anne, it’s also a big “I hate you” to the wind, which would not calm down while we were trying to take these pictures.
