The Loose Green Peplum

Yes, I know, I have a peplum problem. I just saw this loose green peplum and I couldn’t resist.

One of the frustrating things about shopping for clothes in DC is that once summer hits, you need a completely different wardrobe. Why? Well it’s so gross and humid that I basically don’t want any of my clothes to touch my body. I want all the loose fitting clothing, the shapeless dresses, and loose skirts. As it gets closer to summer (I know, it’s still April, I’m savoring it), I find that I’m starting to pick tops that I know will transition well. Enter this loose peplum. I’m able to pair it with cardigans right now, but I know it’ll be perfect on its own in summer.

Do you shop with other seasons in mind?
