International Women’s Day

Note: Today’s post is NOT sponsored by Everlane. I stand strong behind their message that we can and should all be #HumanTogether and I want to help promote their cause.

Do you know what today is? It’s International Women’s Day! It’s your day to wear red, not shop (or shop women’s run businesses), and remind people that women’s rights are human’s rights.

There are a number of companies that are doing things to promote International Women’s Day and I wanted to do a quick post today to share what Everlane is doing today.

Do you remember when I talked about Everlane’s 100% Human Collection? They’ve been continuing to sell those shirts, but this week they’re running a special edition of those shirts.

Everlane has switched the shirts over to pink for International Women’s Day. For every pink 100% Human shirt sold, Everlane will be donating $5 to Equality Now. If you haven’t heard of Equality Now, they’ve been working since 1992 to help promote women’s rights for women around the world. It’s a great cause and I’m so happy to see one of my favorite brands continue to support the important causes that they believe in.

If you want to pick up your own pink 100% Human shirt, hurry! These shirts won’t be around forever and they’re already selling out fast.
