Friday Night Links

Friday Night Links | Something Good, good night rebel girls

I tried to think of a witty way to introduce this book, but it’s the end of the week and my brain is fried. So I’m just going to jump into it. I’m obsessed with this book, Good Night Rebel Girls. I found out about it after I stumbled upon their video about the lack of books for young girls.

Good Night Rebel Girls is a book for girls that inspires them with stories of 100 great women from Elizabeth I to Serena Williams. This book looks so amazing that I’m debating picking it up for myself.

Good Night Rebel Girls was created by Timbuktu Magazine (isn’t that a great name?). Timbuktu completely understands how important it is for girls to grow up surrounded by female role models. When they realized that most of the books and tv that they grew up on lacked that, they took matters into their own hands. The result is an amazing book that can teach girls (and boys) about the women who have done amazing things.

I hope you’ll take a minute to check out this company and maybe even pick up a copy for yourself!
