The Camel Blazer Vest

How is it already time to start talking the holidays? It seems like I was wearing sandals just yesterday! Oh wait, I actually was wearing sandals pretty recently. Darn DC weather. But anways, it’s time to start talking about thanksgiving outfits and this blazer vest.

When it comes to Thanksgiving outfits, the first thing I ask is “what will I still feel comfortable in after I eat my weight in stuffing?”

It’s a serious consideration guys. I do want to look a little dressed up though, since it is still a holiday after all.

My Thanksgivings tend to be a little more low key, so I can generally pull of jeans without a problem and then it’s just a matter of picking my top. While I went a little more casual last year, I’m debating mixing it up a little last year and throwing in this vest. It’s probably no surprise to you that I’m picking out a vest (I kind of have a vest problem), but I love how this one is a little dressier, thanks to it being a “blazer vest.” Plus, it’s actually pretty warm!

If this outfit isn’t the best fit for your Thanksgiving plans, it would also be great for a Friendsgiving or to just wear on the weekend.

What are your Thanksgiving plans? I love to hear about how others celebrate the holiday!
