We’re rounding out Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I’ve saved my favorite partnership for last. aerie + Bright Pink has a special place in my heart because I actually worked on this partnership during my first year as an intern at American Eagle. Part of my job was actually to help collect and count all of the bras that were donated to the homeless shelter (so glamorous, I know). Since then I’ve loved watching the partnership grow and the positive message that it sends to women everywhere.
Bright Pink focuses on breast cancer prevention and educating young women about how to do monthly self examinations. Breast cancer is something that can be detected early on, which can allow it to be treated sooner. If you haven’t heard of Bright Pink before, they’re a pretty amazing organization that you should check out immediately.
The partnership between aerie + Bright Pink started seven years ago and has continued to grow. This year, as part of aerie’s Support Your Girls Campaign, aerie will be donating 100% of the proceeds from their limited edition Bright Pink line. Plus, men can get involved too! For the first time, men can pick up their limited edition boxers and briefs to support the cause.
There are only a few days left in October, so make them count and support aerie + Bright Pink!
